Your cat has run away, and every real kilometre brings you closer.
Answers to common questions are below.
The app reads your walking and running distance from Apple Health. Every real kilometre moves you further along the cat's trail; at story checkpoints you meet other cats, find clues, and follow the runaway all the way to the reunion. No workouts to start, no buttons to press — just walk as you normally do.
Open the Health app → your profile picture → Apps & Services → Follow the Paws and make sure reading Walking + Running Distance is allowed. The app picks up new data within about half a minute while open.
Distance counts from the day your journey starts. Steps recorded before that day stay in Health but do not move the story.
The tracker itself is fully free: distance, the trail, and checkpoints always work, and the first story checkpoint is free to read. A one-time purchase unlocks every remaining story of the journey. Stories you reach before purchasing are not lost — they wait in the Logbook until you unlock them.
Open the unlock screen (Settings → "Unlock the full story") and tap Restore purchases. The purchase is tied to your Apple ID.
