City Drive - Support
Need help with City Drive or have questions about learning to drive? You're in the right
place. Below you'll find answers to frequently asked questions and ways to contact us for further assistance.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
-
1. How do I steer the car?
Use the on-screen steering dial. Turn it in the direction you want to go — at higher
speeds the wheel automatically recenters, just like a real car. There is no physical
3D wheel inside the cabin; steering is handled entirely through the dial.
-
2. How do I accelerate, brake and reverse?
Use the on-screen pedals to accelerate and brake, and the gear selector to choose
P, R, N or D. To drive forward, engage "D"; to reverse, engage "R". Each level's
checklist tells you which gear to use.
-
3. How do I complete a level?
Every level shows a step-by-step checklist. Follow the current highlighted step —
start the engine, set off, obey the signs and lights, and finish as instructed
(for example: stop, shift to P, set the handbrake and unfasten your seatbelt).
Completing all steps finishes the level.
-
4. Why did I fail a level?
A run ends in failure if you crash, drive off the road (even letting a corner of the
car hang over a sidewalk or building counts), or run out of time on timed levels.
During a run you'll also be warned about mistakes such as speeding, crossing into the
wrong lane, running a red light, or not stopping at a STOP line.
-
5. What are the mirrors and the top-down view?
Three live mirrors — left, right and rear-view — show the world behind you in real
time, which is essential for reversing and parking. After every run, the camera lifts
into a top-down view over your car so you can see exactly what you touched and where
you went wrong.
-
6. How are stars awarded?
Stars reflect how cleanly you drove. Completing a level with fewer mistakes earns more
stars; a failed run earns none. Replay any level to improve your rating.
-
7. Some levels say "Coming soon" — how do I unlock them?
Those levels are not available yet and are intentionally locked. They will become
playable in a future update — no action is needed on your part.
-
8. Is my progress saved?
Yes. Your completed levels, star ratings and best results are automatically saved to
your device and sync across your devices via iCloud, using your existing Apple ID.
-
9. Can I change the language?
Yes. City Drive is available in English, German, French, Ukrainian, Spanish, Japanese
and Portuguese. By default it uses your phone's language (if supported); you can change
it any time on the Settings screen.
-
10. Does the game require an internet connection?
No. City Drive works completely offline. An internet connection is only used for iCloud
sync of your progress across devices, which happens automatically in the background when
available.
-
11. What are the system requirements?
City Drive requires iOS 17 or later, is compatible with iPhone, and is played in
landscape orientation.
