DMN Master Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 27, 2026

The short version

DMN Master collects no data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, no third-party SDKs and no servers of ours. The app makes no network requests at all. Your decision models and your settings stay on your device and in storage you already control.

1. Your decision models

Models are ordinary .dmn files that you open and save through the system's own file browser — Files on iPhone and iPad, Finder on Mac. The app reads and writes only the file you have open, and only where you told it to. It never uploads a model, never copies one elsewhere, and never scans your storage for other files. The same is true of PNG and PDF exports and printouts: they go only where you send them in the system save panel or print dialog.

If you keep files in iCloud Drive, or in another provider you have connected in Files, syncing is done by that service, not by us, and is governed by its own privacy policy. The app itself performs no syncing.

On Mac, the app includes a Quick Look extension that draws a preview when you press Space on a .dmn file in Finder. It reads only the file being previewed, on your Mac, and keeps nothing.

2. Your settings

Your choices in Settings — the theme, the interface language, the canvas background and minimap, and editing preferences such as the buttons beside the selection and the model check — are saved on your device in standard app preferences, together with whether you have closed the getting-started card. They are technical settings, contain nothing personal, and never leave the device.

3. No network use

The app makes no network requests of any kind. Everything — opening files, drawing, editing decision tables, checking and exporting — happens on your device, with or without an internet connection. The only web link in the app, to the DMN specification on the Object Management Group's website, opens in your browser if you choose to follow it.

4. No analytics or tracking

There is no analytics framework, no crash-reporting service, no advertising identifier and no third-party code of any kind in the app. We do not know who you are, whether you use the app, or what you model with it. If you choose to share crash reports or diagnostics with developers in your device's settings, Apple may pass them to us without anything that identifies you; that is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

5. Children's privacy

The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

6. Changes to this policy

If our practices ever change, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
